How do I know what size to choose?

You’ll find a sizing chart on our campaign page under the section “What’s my size” which should give you the guidance you need. If you have any concerns, please send us an email at [email protected] or leave a comment here on Kickstarter and will be happy to help you get the perfect fit.

How do I choose my size and colour?

When the campaign period has ended (Sun, October 31, 2021), and provided we have reached the funding goal, we will send out a survey to everyone who placed an order where you choose the colour and size and state the desired delivery address.

Will there be more colours?

If we meet our stretch goals there will be one additional colour offered.

Are there any fees?

No, there are no extra fees for backers (buyers). Just the price of the jacket and possible freight. In Scandinavia we offer free shipping.

What is your return policy?

If you by any means wish to change size after receiving your jacket you can contact us at [email protected] and we will help you out.

What is the shipping cost within Scandinavia?

Free shipping applies to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland.

What is the international shipping cost?

International shipping will be a flat rate 250 SEK (Approximately US$ 30) for all shipments outside of Scandinavia. Please note that this shipping fee does not include duties/taxes that may be leveraged by your country or origin.

International shipping: What are duties and taxes?

For shipments within EU, VAT is included in the price. For shipments outside of EU you will be responsible for all duties and taxes leveraged by the country your order is shipped to. Since customs and duty costs vary widely throughout the world, see your country’s shipping, and import rules and regulations for more details.

Will I be able to track my shipment?

Yes, we will update you with a tracking number from our carrier UPS as soon as it leaves our warehouse.

Can I pick up my reward from the Hajk office?

If you live in Gothenburg, you are more than welcome to drop by and pick-up your jacket. Please contact us at [email protected] to arrange pick-up.

When will I receive my jacket?

It depends on when you back us. Early Bird rewards will ship in January 2022; all other rewards will ship in February of 2022.

Do you have a warranty?

The ARV jacket is offered with a life-time warranty. If our clothing fails due to manufacturer defect, we will repair, refund, or replace the jacket at no cost.

If our clothing fails due to normal wear and tear, you can send it back to us and we’ll repair and charge you only the cost of repairing, no mark-up added. If the garment can’t be repaired, we will offer a generous discount on a new one.

How do I change my order?

Visit the project page and click the “Manage your pledge” button that appears next to your pledge amount. On this page you can change your pledge amount, payment method, adjust your reward, or cancel your pledge.

What happens if the project doesn’t reach its funding goal?

No money will be charged in case we don’t reach the funding goal.

When will my credit card be charged?

Kickstarter will authorize your card when you first pledge with a zero amount to check that the card is valid. If our project is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the project reaches its funding deadline (Sun, October 31, 2021).

What material is the jacket made of?

Outer layer Wool blend (70% recycled wool, 30% polyamide)

HD® Wool Apparel insulation (75% wool, 25% polylactide, a renewable resource used to provide thermal bonding, loft and wash durability to the finished insulation)

Inner lining (100% recycled polyester)

The jacket buttons (42% renewable-based raw material, and 58% recycled polyester).

All other trims including neck label, neck-hanger loop, chest logotype and care label is made from 100% recycled polyester.

Finally, the hang-tag is produced in 100% recycled paper with a 100% recycled polyester string.

The recycled polyester inner lining is produced in China.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
